Over the years, I have found that there are many Christians that are unsure about the differences between receiving eternal life through faith in Christ, water baptism, and the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. In this class I spent a lot of time going over the purpose and effects of salvation, looking at how that differs from being baptized in water, and from being baptized with the Holy Spirit.

When God started the church on the day of Pentecost, He gave every member (Acts 2:4) the power to speak in tongues as a part of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. This ability an important tool that He provides for His children, and that He desires all of His children to receive. In this class, we go through some of the benefits that come as a result of speaking in tongues.
