In the Bible, the English word “repent” is the translation of a Greek word “metanoia” which basically mean “change your mind” or “think differently.”

Why Jesus Came to Earth

If you have ever pondered the question “Why did Jesus come to earth?” Depending on your background, there are many ways that this could be answered. Did he come to die for our sins? Did he come to show us what God is like? Did he come to teach us how to love one another?

God Heals a Nun

A friend of mine asked if we could pray for his sister.  We agreed, and we all met in a private place to talk and pray.

Tithing or Giving? – Freely Receive, Freely Give

Here is a talk I gave at about moving away from Old Covenant tithing, and moving into New Covenant giving.

As part of this message, I talk about how tithing is defined in the Old Covenant, and how it is not applicable to Christians living in the New Covenant. I also spend some time on what giving looks like for Christians, and how we should feel about God and our finances.
